NSE ONGC – Range Breakout

NSE ONGC is currently trading just below the 100 EMA and is about 5 points away from the 200 EMA. After reaching a high of 257.5, the price has consolidated into a narrow value area. The Average True Range (ATR) stands at 4.13, while the ADX is at 11.08, indicating low trend strength. The price is currently range-bound between 240 and 245, and a breakout above or below this zone could offer a potential trade setup.

If the price breaks out above 245, traders may initiate long positions with the following targets: 248 – 251 – 254+. On the other side, a fall below 240 will lead to a short opportunity with the following targets: 236 – 232 – 230. Note that it’s an opportunity-based setup, and breakout is the first condition for entry.
