Timeframe: Weekly
This is the weekly chart of NSE LICHSGFIN, which encapsulates the entire story of the security. The stock has just broken below the 20 EMA and is heading towards the 50 EMA. The ADX has dropped to 25.11, while the ATR has increased to 53.88. Although sharp moves rarely create new extremes, it’s crucial to observe the wave behavior of the stock.

According to the wave principle, NSE LICHSGFIN has started an impulse cycle from the low of 185.2. Wave (1) occurred with an impulse at 542.4, and wave (2) occurred with a double three formation. Currently, the security’s price has completed wave (3) and has started falling for corrective sub-wave 4 of wave (3). Wave 4 can occur near the demand zone of 544, which can be challenging to break down because it is also the previous wave 4 of a smaller degree. It’s common for wave 4 to occur near wave 4 of the smaller degree. The common retracement for the 4th wave is 38.2% at 632.6 or 50% at 572, making these two levels crucial turning points for security. It is not advisable to catch a falling knife until we clearly see the subdivisions of Wave 4 and Wave 5.
